After testing all residents and staff yesterday, we currently have 1 positive resident and no positive staff members. Unvaccinated staff will be tested on Thursday 9/23/2021.

Our current update for today is as follows: 51 residents and 25 staff tested positive for COVID-19 total. We will continue universal testing of residents weekly and twice weekly for staff. Today the positivity rate for York County is 18%. This has been an extremely challenging year dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. As you may know, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has found a COVID-19 vaccine to be safe and effective. This vaccine has gone through testing and clinical trials to ensure it meets the highest safety standards. We have partnered with an approved pharmacy provider to distribute and administer the vaccination at our facility when it is available. April 29, 2021 Dear Family Member/Resident Representative: I hope this letter finds you and your family well. We received some good news the other day from CMS and DOH, as they have updated their guidance regarding visitation!! With the expectation that the county positivity rate will be below 10% by Friday, our resident vaccinations are over 70%, and there are no active COVID-19 cases among residents or staff, we will be opening up for visitation beginning May 1 st ! The following key changes have now been made by CMS: Residents and visitors may visit without distancing and source control masks if alone in the resident’s room and the resident and visitor are fully vaccinated. If the visitor is not vaccinated, they can visit with a fully vaccinated resident alone in the resident’s room without distancing while wearing well-fitting source control masks. August 6, 2021 Dear Family Member/Resident Representative: We are now allowing visitation as our outbreak test for the first round did not identify any new positive cases. Our second round of testing will be August 10 th for all staff and residents. As a reminder, visitation is at all times except : · when the county positivity rate is >10% and <70% of residents in the facility are fully vaccinated, · for residents with confirmed COVID-19 infection , whether vaccinated or not until they have met the criteria to discontinue Transmission Based Precautions, and · for residents in quarantine , vaccinated or not, until they have met criteria for release from quarantine.
